Join the 365 Days of YA Reading Challenge

Myself and Kate over at Literary Kate are co-hosting the 365 Days of YA Reading Challenge!  This challenge is inspired by Epic Reads’ 365 Days of YA info graphic.  The best part about our challenge is that you can read as much or as little as you wish.  Do you have brand new releases that you’ve been dying to read?  What about the books that have been sitting on your shelves for a few years?  New and old titles are part of this challenge!

We’re so thrilled that Epic Reads will be partnering with us on this challenge for monthly book giveaways and periodic ARC giveaways (US ONLY). As an added bonus, Kate and I will also be offering four seasonal prize package giveaways that will be open internationally for those participating in the challenge.

Here’s an example of how you could custom build
your reading challenge!
As you can see on the graphic below the team over at Epic Reads offer reading suggestions for each day, week, month or for the entire Winter season. As part of this challenge I have chosen to focus on the SEASONAL suggestions and read those. So between January and March I will read Red Queen…BUT I’ll probably also add in a read of the Newsoul series (Incarnate, Asunder and Infinite) during week 12 as shown below. See, you can totally make this YOUR challenge based on your existing plans for the year.

  1. I’m considering this! Even though I have a couple of challenges already, I LOVE this idea, Sarah! (and Kate!)

    1. You should totally join Asheley! It can probablu even piggyback off the challenges you’re already doing!

  2. Jade @ Bedtime Bookworm

This is such a cool challenge because you can really make it into whatever you want! I think every month I’m going to choose a book from the day or week section, or the one for that month or season. That way I have a lot of options and still working towards a goal! Love it 🙂

    1. Awesome! So glad to hear youll be joining! Feel free to spread the word to your book buddies! The more the merrier!

  3. […] 25 fantasy books this year! Track my progress here! I’m doing my own unique twist on the 365 Days of YA challenge. I will be reading a book a month for this challenge. Check out the challenge and my progress here! […]

  4. I saw this challenge a day ago and I was like: pretty graphic, cool idea! *runs away* I thought the challenge was to read ALL the books mentioned. You can imagine my horror. This makes a lot more sense! Just to double check, you can pretty much pick and choose whichever books mentioned interest you? For instance, looking at the monthly part, I could pick and choose which months interested me? Or if there were 10, random titles I want to read, that works, too? As long as it’s mentioned in the graphic/it’s an Epic Reads book, it counts?

Sorry for all the questions! Just wanted to clarify a few things!

    1. You have it exactly right! It IS an amazing and comprehensive graphic so just use it as an inspiration for your reading list and build your own challenge. Then…every month you can check in with the monthly link up and let us know how you’re doing!

  5. I love this! I was planning on doing a challenge with it this year so I’m happy to see there’s like an official type one that I can join instead of doing it all by lonesome lol

    1. Wonderful…so excited that you’ll be joining us!!

  6. This sounds fabulous! I honestly have never done a reading challenge so this will be my FIRST!

    1. Thats so exciting!! Glad to hear youll be joining us! Its going to be a blast!

  8. Hi Sarah! I am really excited to be participating in this challenge! It is going to be so much fun.
I signed up a few days ago (#22 Her Reviews of Books, Movies, and Everything) but I just changed my blog name and URL. I didn’t see a way to edit/delete my old entry, so I just added a new link for post (same post just on new blog). So I am also linked up as #37: My Bookish Itinerary.
Sorry for any confusion. I have been wanting to change my blog name for a while and decided to just take the leap and do it over the weekend.

    1. Thanks for the heads up!! I’ll make a note of it! 🙂

  9. […] As reading is part of my writing research, I’ve made it my goal to read more in 2015. Not only that, I’d like to venture away from what I’d normally grab off the shelf, and discover some titles I might otherwise not read. So that’s why I’ve decided to participate in the 365 Days of YA Reading Challenge! […]

  21. […] Now, both of these are re-takes of fairy tales and I loved them. Tear You Apart is also part of the 365DaysofYA Challenge – which I won the Winter season grand giveaway for! It was so exciting, I get a hardcopy of Red Queen, so even though I have it in ereader format now I’ll have the georgous tangible one to adorn my bookshelf with, and these adorable magnetic bookmarks. So if you haven’t been convinced before, you should really do the challenge! […]
